Central Arts Gallery is planning a special event for art teachers and their students from the Sunnyside or Tucson Unified Districts to exhibit their artwork at Dinnerware Artspace, 119 E. Toole on Saturday Septrember 3rd.
The intention of this exhibit is to raise awareness of the growing concern in our public schools regarding funding for the visual fine arts programs.
Central Arts Gallery is asking attendees to bring a donation of art materials that will be divided among the classrooms of those art teachers who are able to participate in showing their work. We will accept all media. Work does not necessarily need to be framed.
